Do you have to talk?
Nope! While Walk & Talk is a place for remote people to be able to network and chat like they were in an office, if you just want to feel it out and learn about the call’s topic that’s fine too. If I wasn’t the one leading this thing I’d probably be sitting in silence while I pace around.
Why is there so much background noise?
People are encouraged to get outside and walk – and I will be doing that as well as our guest! We may have background noise from being outside. We ask any others who are not speaking to mute their phones.
What is the format of Walk & Talk?
We will have a topic and guest to kick off the conversation. Everyone is encouraged to ask questions and converse as this is meant to be a way to meet others and chat.
The call will be scheduled for 30 minutes via conference call bridge. If people are having good conversations and are wanting to hang on a little longer, that is okay as long as my schedule allows me to keep the meeting open.
How often is Walk & Talk?
Once per month.

Now that I got that out of my system, let's talk!
What are the rules of Walk & Talk?
The rules are simple:
You must be walking or moving for the duration of the call.
I encourage you to get outside if the weather permits but pacing around your house or office is good too.
Mute your phone when you are not speaking. I’m going to be walking too so I can’t really moderate and mute loud people.
Be kind.
